Flight attendants are trained professionals who ensure each and every passenger enjoys a safe flight on Piedmont Airlines.

We are looking for a select number of extraordinary men and women to join our team. 

Piedmont is owned by American Airlines, and our flight attendants are the face of the American Eagle brand. We fly Embraer 145 regional jets on East Coast routes out of Philadelphia and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Qualifications

  • 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and valid passport
  • At least 5’2” tall and no taller than 6'0"
  • Pass a background check, FBI fingerprint check, and a drug test
  • No DUIs in the past five years.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Must read, write and speak English fluently
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Must be flexible  to work a schedule that includes early mornings, late nights, weekends and/or holidays
  • No visible tattoos on the face, neck, arms, hands, feet or legs below the knee
  • No extreme piercings or hair color while in uniform
  • Must be able to travel overnight two to four nights per week and work up to 14 hours per day.
  • Must be willing to relocate to a crew base in Philadelphia, Pa. (PHL) or Charlotte, N.C. (CLT).
  • Preferred applicants possess at least a two-year degree

  • Free, space-available travel is offered to all flight attendants and immediate family members.

  • Starting salary for a first-year flight attendant is approximately $18,000 with opportunities for increased income. 

  • Training is paid and includes four weeks of ground school in Charlotte, N.C.
     All candidates are required to reside at the hotel during ground school for four weeks. Ground school will be followed by two weeks of on the job training.
