Piedmont Airlines Announces Pilot Partnership with Infinity Flight Group
SALISBURY, Maryland - Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Airlines Group Inc., is pleased to announce a new partnership with Infinity Flight Group in Trenton, New Jersey, to provide a well-defined career path for pilots to American Airlines.
Starting immediately, Piedmont Airlines will offer conditional employment and tuition reimbursement to select Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) at Infinity. Once a CFI reaches the required ATP minimums, he or she will join Piedmont as a first officer, and eventually transition to American Airlines.

American Eagle flight 4855 on February 11 - routine to the 34 passengers on board - took just 51 minutes, but launched Piedmont into the jet age. Fourteen months after American Airlines announced that Piedmont’s fleet would expand to include Embraer 145 regional jets, all eyes were on a Philadelphia to Albany revenue flight that changed our company forever.
Salisbury, Maryland, Feb. 9, 2016 – Piedmont Airlines has teamed with ATP Flight School to begin reimbursing pilots at least $11,000 for flight training costs through participation in ATP’s Tuition Reimbursement Program.
