Piedmont Airlines Announces $15,000 Signing Bonus for All Pilots, $10,000 Employee Referral

SALISBURY, Maryland  Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Airlines Group Inc. will pay a $15,000 signing bonus to all new hire pilots in addition to top tier industry wages and benefits, effective immediately. Piedmont team members will also earn $10,000 for every pilot they refer to the airline.

“With travel demand returning and the airline industry rebounding, it’s exciting to be able to offer a $15,000 signing bonus for new pilots to look at Piedmont as a career choice,” said Eric Morgan, Piedmont Airlines president and CEO. “New hire pilots will be able to upgrade from first officer to captain quickly and flow with a guaranteed job at American Airlines in a four to six-year time period. Piedmont was one of the only airlines not to furlough pilots during the COVID-19 crisis, and that has opened a world of opportunities for our team members.”
