The No Surprises Act (NSA), a component of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, includes a requirement that group health plans provide a notice describing participants’ rights and protections regarding surprise medical bills. The Transparency in Coverage (TiC) Final Rules require group health plans to post in-network and out-of-network machine readable files (MRF) with pricing information on a public website. MRF for Piedmont Airlines Medical Plan can be found here.
