Piedmont Sponsors SBY Pride Parade and Festival

Piedmont cares about company culture and looks to create an inclusive and diverse environment. This starts with giving value to the communities within the company and supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). In partnership with the Pride ERG, Piedmont returned as a sponsor for the second annual Pride Parade and Festival in Salisbury, Maryland on June 24.

Six volunteers were in attendance, including two board members from the Pride ERG. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to sponsor these events celebrating my community and was thrilled that Piedmont gave the support to pull it off,” says Pride President, Kayla Glass.

“Working for a company where I am openly able to be myself is very important in my professional life,” adds Vice President Carli McColl Quinn. “It’s amazing to see Piedmont get involved, and that we were able to make such a helpful impact with Salisbury Pride.”
