June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month – a month to pay tribute to those who were involved in the Stonewall Riots, to bring awareness to the ongoing pursuit of justice, equity and inclusion for all, and a time to celebrate the love and diversity that makes our world a better place.
As a company, it is important to cultivate a caring culture that respects each team member, values diversity and creates an inclusive work environment where everyone has opportunities to grow while being their authentic self.
We champion our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), employee-led groups that foster a diverse, inclusive workplace. Piedmont currently has six active ERGs, Black Professionals Network (BPN), Christian (CERG), Latin Diversity Network (LDN), Pride, Professional Women in Aviation (PWIA), and the Veterans/Military (VMERG). These groups provide awareness and opportunity for action to all team members, active or retired, who are willing to make a difference at Piedmont.
