Piedmont Airlines Awarded Ground Handling Contract for New American Airlines Routes in Provo, Utah

We are thrilled to announce starting October 7, 2024, Piedmont Airlines will proudly take on the ground handling operations for American Airlines at Provo Airport (PVU) in Provo, Utah, supporting operations above and below the wing. This exciting development coincides with American Airlines launching new nonstop daily flights from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Phoenix (PHX) to Provo, marking Provo as American Airlines’ third destination in Utah and Piedmont’s 17^th ground handling station in the West Division.

Expanding Piedmont’s West Division footprint is a testament to delivering industry-leading safe and reliable ground handling services across the United States.

As Piedmont prepares to begin to service later in the Fall, we are seeking talented individuals to join our growing team at PVU. Starting wages for frontline team members is $18.25/hour with pay increases for supervisors, there are also several leadership positions available.

Provo is located less than an hour from Utah’s capital, Salt Lake City, and is known for its rich history and outdoor activities; making it the perfect backdrop for customers and team members to visit and work.
